About Us

Disability Partnership Abroad(DPA)

DPA is an Australian Association Incorporated on 14th August, 2002 in Melbourne with a vision to offer fullness of life to underprivileged children affected by disabilities and poverty who are below 18years old in East Africa. DPA aims to give these needy children equal opportunity in life like other children around them by lifting their standard of life and their dignity.
Since 2002, DPA has been facilitating and offering life-changing, sometimes life-saving support for disadvantaged children affected by disabilities regardless of their ethnic and religious background in East Africa. Often, the outcomes of our programs range from saving and improving children’s livesthrough surgical & medical support to increasing their physical functionality, poverty reduction, removal of barriers to education and work, increased independence and social acceptance. Our goal is to have them healthier, happier and renewed hope for their future.

The great thing about partnering with DPA is that we work closely with all the children under DPA programmes. We love to see young people, adults and communities coming together to help these less fortunate young people who are affected by disabilities. We do believe in touching lives of these children one at a time as well as collectively.
